Felicity is a British actress that gained notoriety for her role as Jane Hawking, the protagonist of The Theory of Everything. Jones began acting at the age 12 and worked on various TV series, plays as well as films. Her career began with the television film The Treasure Seekers. In The Worst Witch she played Ethel Hallow. Then came Weirdsistersisters, which was a sequel to The Worst Witch. She played Young Ruth as her debut film Flashbacks of a Fool. In the following years, she was in various films. In films such as The Invisible Woman or The Amazing Spider-Man 2 The Amazing Spider-Man 2, she was a hit for her performance. It was, however, the performance she gave in The Theory of Everything that earned her the Oscar for the first time. The biopic was based on the life of physicist Stephen Hawking, and Jones was adored by both audiences and critics due to her superb portrayal of Hawking's former wife. Inferno which starred Tom Hanks was next on her resume. Jones received the British Artist of 2016 award from the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles, for her exceptional ability and dedication.
