Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou born Beaumont, Puy-deDomme France in August 9th 1976. Audrey Tautou is the fourth child of 4 children. Her parents a dental surgeon and a teacher recognised and supported her love of theatre and drama at an early age, which overcame her initial ambition to become a primatologist thanks to her fascination with monkeys. At the age of a young lady the rise to fame was rapid and marked with the beginning of her successes. Prior to beginning an acting career she participated in Jeunes Premiers which was a French show on TV that focuses on talent that was sponsored by Canal+ in 1998. The program also awarded her the title of the title of Best Young Actress for the Beziers Festival of Young Actors. Tautou was raised in an Catholic home, and was a member of the religious services, despite having went to school in The Institut Catholique de Paris. The modeling and acting careers of Tautou were intertwined. Her image was the mainstay for L'Oreal Mont Blanc Chanel, and is known as the Chanel Muse. Also, she has an intense photographic passion and has recently exhibited her work during the Arles Festival, titled Superficial. The majority of her photographs concern famous people and celebrities. They also feature a collection of self portraits in addition. Audrey Tautou's global recognition and popularity exploded after her appearance as Amelie Poulain's main lady in Le Fabuleux Destin of Amelie Poulain. Amelie is an international box office success and praised at many award shows around the world. The film is still the most successful French film of the French language across the US. In the years following this film, Tautou appeared in numerous films ranging from British dramas to Jean Pierre Jeunet's long dimanche de fiancailles. She then moved to Hollywood and was in the film with Tom Hanks alongside Ron Howard in The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown.
